In aid of Leukaemia Research, Alzheimer’s Society and Guide Dogs, Katie Jowsey and I have organised a Tenpin Bowling Tournament.
EVERYONE CAN TAKE PART
It is Tenpin Bowling Tournament for both Sport Bowlers and Recreational Bowlers which has divisions for the under 10 year olds, the 11 to 17 year olds and the 17 years plus age groups, with or without the abilities to bowl.
IT IS A NOT FOR PROFIT EVENT
The Tournament entry fee, minus the lane and minimal printing costs, will all be divided equally between the three charities. We hope to raise in excess of £6000 over the whole weekend.
IN MEMORY OR CELEBRATION?
As 2010 is the 50th Birthday of Leukaemia Research as well as being 50 years since the first Bowling Centre was opened in the UK, we hope lots of people will come along and support this event, in celebration of tenpin bowling and also in memory of others who may no longer be with us.

In recognition of the best scores, many businesses have already donated prizes. From Gym Membership to Tenpin Bowling equipment, tickets to THE DEEP, signed Hull FC shirt……….
